Band Practice with The Pink Door

Photographed for the KWVA Music Blog

The Pink Door hosts their practice on a rooftop patio above the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity House. The band consists of Claire Jenkins, bassist; Emily Bullinger, lead singer; Brian Hung, drummer; and Ella Nixon, guitarist.

Bullinger and Nixon sing together as they practice a cover of “Pumpkin” by the Regrettes.

Jenkins plays bass as the band plays as the sun starts to set.

The Pink Door’s jam session at DTD continues throughout the summer evening and can be heard by those walking through the streets below.

Hung strikes the drums while the band rehearses covers of “Transparent Soul” by Willow, “Freaks” by Surf Curse, “Blitzkrieg Bop” by The Ramones, and more.
